Armada’s MB Bottle-Brew Division gaining some traction with key Retailers

Water Depot and TSC Stores supply MB awareness to stream of regular customers


Mississauga, Ontario, August 6, 2013 – Armada’s MB Bottle-Brew division’s Marketing Manager and Key Account Executive, Steven J. Best (TSX.V: ARD) reported today that two of his major accounts Water Depot and TSC Stores have become significant influencers amongst their respective customer-bases in bringing mainstream awareness to the Bottle-Brew brand and category.  The mainstream awareness will cause additional and faster sell-through of the product and will result in more beer drinkers becoming Bottle-Brew customers.  “It’s only a matter of time before these two retailers with a total of over 70 locations in Ontario combined will encourage and stimulate other key retailers in joining the MB Bottle-Brew distribution network” suggested Best.
Karen Stewart, VP Franchise Development, Water Depot indicated that “sales of MB Bottle-Brew have been tremendous at Water Depot”.  Bottle-Brew is an excellent fit for stores like Water Depot because of the personal relationships that exist between customer and franchisee; this relationship allows for product discussion and explanation which results in more Bottle-Brew sales.
Alex Thornton, Category Manager TSC Stores said that “we are very happy with sales of MB Bottle-Brew throughout our stores……we are looking forward to new opportunities with MB”.  Best alluded to the fact that there have been strategy sessions with TSC and there are good reasons to be optimistic.
Best went on to say “Water Depot and TSC are two of our more successful accounts when it comes to sales and sell-through.  I believe their success lies partly in their existing business model; this model involves having customers come back to their stores on a regular basis for repeat purchases.  At TSC customers come back for animal feed and farm supplies; Water Depot customers come back to re-fill their water containers.  In addition, both organizations take the time to explain how MBB works and the advantages to the world’s easiest home brewing kit”
